Tj brought up such a good point where the heavy weight classes don’t always have the greatest athletes because they have other sport options they can choose from. A lot of the most athletic small guys don’t have many options and many gravitate towards fighting because of that. Some sports you really gotta be born genetically gifted like basketball.

I had never heard it the way TJ put it but I think he’s absolutely correct. Bigger athletes have many more options to compete at the professional level whereas the smaller guys basically only have boxing and mma if they want to be professional athletes. I wasn’t much of a fan of TJ but this interview really showed how intelligent he is at the fight game
