Josh/John, here’s question for a hardcore fan, talking about mma media, mmajunkie used to be ufcjunkie. I remember this back in the days when sherdog and weekly were pretty popular. they had a role play style mma game on ufcjunkie. UFC started taking all the websites that contained UFC in it. To me it seemed like that point when they changed to mmajunkie that at the press conferences that mmajunkie (mainly John Morgan) always gets the first questions. Is any of this related, or do you guys have any information on this history if there is any?

It's kind of a mma thing for John Morgan to get the first questions. He been at it for so long, that it's like a mutual respect thing. Only in the last 10 years have other organizations really got some legit attention. I mean Ariel only spoke on ufc for the most part till he was banned.

You guys should look at some prop bets when talking about the bettings odds. For example Alex money line is -150 but him to win by KO is +120. Sometimes prop bets are such good value cause certain fighters most likely only win by one method. I think betting Alex or hill by KO are solid plays if you feel one fighter over the other

@@hajiee I agree. Bandwagon fans really only know him for his win over Glover. Then because of his injury they forgot what he's capable of. HIs TD defense in that fight alone and how he scambled from bottom was great. Many can't do that against Glover. He truly upped his ground game since his loss (and only loss) Craig. People that say he only has a punchers chance have no idea, the guy is a very tricky stiker and has very good footwork. This fight is gonna be GREAT!! Both can win, it's not going to be a one sided affair like many think.

Overall both fighter's deserve to be here and it blows my mind when someone says "Jamal is gonna get exposed" if either of these fighter's were "all hype" they wouldn't have made it to the belt.

Remember though that Glover being his coach could be a blessing or a curse (Glover could think he did really good in that fight with Jamahal and might be showing Alex his strategy rather than a strategy for Alex), also in situations like this look at TJ Dillashaw beating Garbrandt and the rest of Alpha Male, Jamahal might just have Glover's Gyms Number, we shall see it will be a bloodbath.

I'm surprised at when speaking of weight classes percentages of difference is not used, the percentage of weight difference in lighter weight classes is much higher that that in heavy weight classes. This is big when considering weight loss to make weight. In second thought it looks really bad for the system when fighters lose up to 20% to make 135.
