Can we set the record straight about the whole Glover common opponent thing so I can stop seeing this used for MMA math. Jiri and Glover fought a war. And in that war Glover took so much damage, that he threw it away when he rocked Jiri in the final round because, in his words, he didn't want to stand anymore. When you're that age, your body does not recover nearly as well. Especially from the absurd amount of damage taken in the Jiri fight. Glover was a fucking monster in the division at the point he fought Jiri, he dogwalked Jan a few months prior. When Jamahal got to him he was fighting a very different athlete, as a result of that war with Jiri. It's like everyone getting Dominic Reyes sloppy seconds after Jan took his soul. He was never gonna be the same. And also as you said, Glover did have some success against Jamahal
