Well ok guys here's a first look at UFC 5 career mode, I basically start at character creation and take you through the process of creating a character up to our Dana White's Contender Series shot.

I'm almost certain you just saw every cut scene for career mode barring perhaps one or two later on when you eventually challenge for a title, do a superfight or retire (just like in UFC 4).

In the end that is a positive. But Is it worth selling a whole $70 brand new game? Fuck no. You can achieve the same exact result through remastering and copying an ancient game. Also we still are nowhere near the standard of undisputed 3 in terms of animations. For each fighter with unique techniques/styles Irl, they added the exact thing into the game for that specific fighter only. For dam near all of em. The reason why these games are always going to be trashed is because we will never have anything as good as we did over a decade ago.

Here is what Career mode needs to fix - Top 15 fighters only fighting like once every 2 years - Need new young fighters created by computer to try and climb rankings so we're not fighting 42 yr old Justin Gaethje - More control to change weight classes it's inexcusable that career mode your opponents arent fighting realistic schedules. They need a system that creates new young fighters with random fight styles to keep the experience fresh and so that every top 15 guy isnt in their late 30s to mid 40s..

Damn looks like EA really spent all their time porting every aspect of ufc 4 onto their frostbite engine made for first person shooters instead of just making a better game. Could’ve had newer, smoother animations with better movement, graphics and physics, fighters could’ve had unique fighting styles and animations. Could’ve had a complete re haul on the character creation allowing us to have body type control like in fight night (made by the same company) could’ve made the clinching system more responsive and fluid. It’s just a shame they spent all their porting UFC 4 onto the frostbite engine, polishing it up a bit and calling it UFC 5 and expecting us to lose our minds over it being a prettier UFC 4. And it’s a damn shame that EA has the rights for another 7 years

Why do they get up so quickly after a knockdown and why aren't they in a staggered state at the very least It'd be cool to see them stumble backwards and actually build their base and post an arm to get up like you see fighters do in real life when they're rocked There should be different levels of knockdowns, some where you land on your side and can spring up, some where you're knocked flat on your back like Charles Olivera style and you're forced to lay in guard for a moment It's so unrealistic to knock someone down with a headkick and they get back up immediately and keep fighting like nothing happened

It’s because in the 3 years that UFC 4 was out they spent a year fixing the broken state it was in when it launched, then spent 2 years porting it over to the frostbite engine and they had zero time to add anything new or change anything about it. They changed the UI, reskinned some of the venues. Altered some animations. But we wanted so much more and they gave us the same thing just prettier

If u can get ur distance down and throw shots without stepping forward they r faster less telegraphed and cause more damage if timed as a counter

Thanks for uploading but if I am going to be honest, it's depressing how lack-luster career mode is, in comparison to Fight Night Champion. The production values, lack of story etc. Just looks like one of them teenager throw-away narratives. I don't see any reason to play career mode.

Same striking animations, same clinch mechanics, same grappling with minor updates and changed controls, input lag seems to be there as well. Career Mode - they've added Valentina in a couple of cutscenes and now you can skip the training camps, what the actual FYK? No presser, no weigh ins, no nothing. No additions to character customization, they have the SAME TATTOOS and HAIRSTYLES in last 3 RELEASES! Just think about this, give this fact a good thought Wake the hell up already, this is beyond ridiculous. This is literally NOT a new game

Dude the worst part is your CaF is STILL limited to a preset build. WTF?! Like why????? I understand online mode for balancing purposes and even still seems a bit ridiculous but It’s career mode. The game does not allow its players to have their VERY OWN PERSONALITIES. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to apply a snap jab and a Celtic cross or a looping hook into a normal hook. CaFs should exist so players have an opportunity to express themselves. These CaF builds are obnoxiously limited to how you can play them. Sick of all the stuff overlooked by EA.

@@dontpressbuttons8087 Yep :) The fact that they’ve not added any new tattoos, hair styles, etc. for over 9 years just tells you the extent of EA not caring about the end product. This is too much though, this legit feels like a scam, and it is a scam. This is not a new game, everything is the same and charging 80 bucks for it is beyond crazy. Funny thing is that it’s not that hard to develop a solid career mode, plus when you have that much time. The potential is up there, with appropriate ideation, they just don’t care. What kills me the most is the brainwashed consumer base, I mean visually the game looks the same, the presentation is the same, feel is the same, graphics look like it’s run on PS3, and you have people raving about this. Plus EA done it’s customers real nasty this time by using ‘in your face’ marketing , presenting existing as new in plain sight. Unbelievable 😂

Bayliun, please ask the devs why they are giving us iron man pants, light up shorts, and helmets, instead of fighter ankle tape option and the ufc venum shorts that are colored and not just black or white?? Venum just brought out the new kits and it’s beyond me of why they wouldn’t implement those into your created fighter options, in ufc 3 you could do both ankle tape and colored Reebok shorts based on what country your fighter trained at
