Ruas beat Oleg up in the rematch outside the UFC but he used that fight as an excuse not to fight Frye in UFC . I believe he avoided better strikers as he aged he’d lose to Maurice Smith in the UFC years later and that was his last UFC fight .

Se vê claramente que o Dom Frye se agarrou diversas vezes no alambrado, pois sabia que tinha pouca chance no chão. Todos sabem que é quase impossível um lutador menor e mais leve derrubar um outro agarrado fortemente no alambrado, ainda mais havendo uma enorme diferença de tamanhoo e peso entre eles. Como era de se esperar, o gás do brasileiro foi totalmente consumido nas tentativas de queda, o que facilitou em muito a vitória sem muito mérito de Don Frye.
