@@zane2897 just because you can bend the rules to give yourself a slimy advantage doesn’t mean it’s sportsmanlike. This is a straight forward sport, we don’t need people dissecting the rule book and capitalizing on loopholes. It takes away from the viewing experience and the integrity of the league when they allow things that at least look that blatant, whether or not they’re technically within the rules.

It is very sportsmanlike to bend the rules in every sport, and every single athlete should take advantage, the ones that are not are only hurting themselves. You are an id1ot if you think he cheated in any way, it's called winning, like I said above, and Silvia smashed this loser! It takes absolutley nothing away from the viewer experience, hell this viewing experience was awesome to watch this dude get humbled! You must be on another planet!

@redpanda9367 nobody did anything wrong. He did exactly what is allowed. I saw great sportsmanship from both ends, but honestly, I have no idea why any dumba$$ would do this in the first place. Then, for people to come in and critique it like they are the f'n pros, and have been doing it for centuries is beyond me. Bottom line is Sylvia is the winner, by a long shot here, that dude did not stand a chance, and I have no idea how he was some champ before, he must of only faced more losers like himself.

@@NORTAH85 He was always a big boy. I heard he was pretty chunky when he started training MMA. Obviously if he's not doing rigorous physical training, he puts on weight like nothing. That or he just has a really shit diet. Who knows? Even when he was in his prime he never had a sixpack though.

Been a long time fan, and as always, amazing event! You people have set the standard for the sport of slapfight, and in my eyes home the real champs of the sport. Not the first to say it, but I really disliked Tim's stance. Maybe it's time to set up a rule to prevent shoulder positioning like that. Compared to many (maybe all) other organisations, you guys value fairness. So I've got no doubt you'll make it work

Their stances were completely different. Neandrathal was basically crouching forward that gave Tim a wide open angle at his chin.Tim had those shoulders arched high and tight to protect the chin, seems like that made all the difference.

I'm so happy for Tim. The shoulder defense should be illegal, BUT it isn't, and in that case...its fair game, and Tim used the shoulder defense perfectly, and it just won him the title. He more than likely would have won regardless of the shoulder defense, but no matter what, it was a great match.

Tim is a maniac . No pun intended . He got his arm snapped in half in the ufc by frank mir, and he he didn’t tap and was mad that the ref stopped the fight. The ref saw the arm snap. !!! Crazy bro. He said late it saved his career.
