I never understand why this series never uses equal matchups. Tim Tams were inspired by Penguin biscuits, so why not put Tim Tams and penguin biscuits against each other? Instead you choose a random biscuit like ginger nuts which is completely different and is destined to lose.

If they wanted to pick good British snacks it would be things like Skittles, Cadbury chocolate, Starbursts, Maltesers, Kit Kats etc. They have to leave out all the good British stuff because its all been exported around the world already. Also things like meat pies are also from Britain, same with fish and chips, a lot of the actual food they eat in Australia is British.

I'm a 30 something northern Englishman and I have literally never heard of Gentleman's Relish outside of innuendo. Surely Marmite should have been the representative here? It's the same sort of product, though having tried Vegiemite (it's good, nice one AUS!), Marmite is slightly less salty. Also Ginger nuts are great but Penguins are the right competitor to Timtams (They also make good straws too). Britain was set up to fail here, but I'm always happy to watch Volk. He's great on the camera, very natural.

I'm not into any that social media bollocks either, and I'm not a snob about things I like cheap and cheerful, but I also don't mind spending a bit of cash on quality if I'm eating out or cooking something good at home for my mates or my girlfriend. Didn't mean foodie as an insult at all, I'm sure he wouldn't mind being called one. As for reviews I might stick one on Google if somewhere is really good, but if somewhere was really shit I wouldn't leave a review no matter how bad, cos bad reviews can ruin someone's living and take food out of their kids mouths. It's alright to be a normal straight male who enjoys cooking and eating good food as a hobby in today's world. Take a chill pill mate 😂
