i dont care what anybody says about rampage! he dropped from 250lbs for the fight! but thats no excuse he had rashad out! the fight was a split second from being stoped but rampage was to out of shape to finish him he let him up and tried to catch his wind and by that time rashad recovered! rashad better not talk any shit his take downs won this fight but true a win is a win! 2nd fight rashad gets rocked then wins by his wrestling what a pattern and what a glass chin! Im disapointed in rampage

Actually your completely wrong. This is a fighting sport incase you didn't know, people don't just blurt out their gameplans. Rashad was getting inside Rampages head trying to piss him off with that trash talk. He said he was going to knock him out when really his gameplan all along was to use his Wrestling to win the fight. It worked perfectly actually, Rampage even said in an interview that he hasn't been working on his Grappling for this fight, he was focusing on striking only. Big Mistake.

@Koshinuke1 Boxing has been around a lot longer and has establish itself. MMA is still young and is growing. Homosexuals? What do you call two guys entering a ring fighting for a purse? Haha. Also, there is a lot of hugging in boxing as well. Also, the skills used in MMA have been around for centuries and have been used by some of the best warriors in the world. I love boxing as well as MMA. You need to stop being so ignorant.

jackson was able to defend against evans' takedowns and if he was taken down he was still able to get back up fairly quickly. he also proved he can handle evans' punches. i think his major fault was he just wasn't aggressive enough. when he did show signs of aggressiveness you could see evans nearly losing composure. same thing happened with penn, him and jackson never did went after their opponents

Yes Rashad won, but it wasn't an impressive win. Rashad for the most of what he done was press Rampage againts the cage to wear him out... Ramage actually almost knocked out Rashad, the fight could have easily been stopped. Rashad won, but this only shows that he has a better ground game... but ground game is boring. Rampage lost nothing from this fight, he will even come back stronger.

@yoyomanihha Lol you just compared yourself to Rampage saying you can do what he can, your an idiot. And he does more than stand up, look at his record. Also, are you Rashad's butt buddy or what lol? Get off his nuts homie.

@Koshinuke1: Feel free to TALK all the gay joks and shit you want just don't try that shit to anyone with grappling skills or you will find yourself on the ground with someone making you their bitch. You can call me gay all day long just so we know I'm the Alfa male and you are the talker, rock on Beta male.

@1exotic rampage didnt almost ko rashad.. rashad almost knocked himself out.. go watch again rashad shoots in for a takedown and he clocks his head off rampages knee then rampage follows up with weak shots on the ground. old rampage would of finished him but the actor BA BARCUS COULDNT DO SHI* LAST NIGHT

Rashad is a pussy bitch. All he did was run away from Rampage and go for takedowns. Fuck RASHAD. Such a disappointing fight. I knew it wouldn't live up to its expectations. I knew rashad would take him down. It was fucking obvious. Since rashad is a very good wrestler and Rampage is not so good on his back.
@1exotic

@blindbrad11 okay Rashad fan boy... I said he almost knocked out him, didn't you fucking see him go down? btw, lack of training? did Rashad had to drop from 250 to 205? Nope he didn't, Rampage did. I like both guys, just don't need to be so biased.

@kungfujellybean wow, I just looked it up. Some of the fighters didn't make shit for cash. Only the big name fighters made more than 100,000, Rashad made out with a little over 400,000. I know that seems like allot, but seeing how MMA is super popular I'm sure it brings in just as much cash as boxing does, Boxing superstars make millions, .. even no name entry level fighters for strikeforce make 10,000 a fight. at least.

@andyb2389 rashad almost knocked rampage out in the first round.Then rampage got him back in the second round.I mean.If u get two guys that talk all that smack they did to each other and then they fight.Neither of them wanna loose.u could actually expect the outcome of it all.What would u do? do what the fans want and go out there and maybe get knocked out or fight ur style and get the W?..me myself would try to get the W..
@liltimmyspeashooter
@liltimmyspeashooter 14 жыл бұрын
@andyb2389 You are so ignorant when it comes to MMA, its incredible. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. MMA is not supposed to be two guys standing up and trading shots. Rashad, even though I don't like him, fought smart and outmatched Rampage at 114. But seriously, keep your mouth shut when it comes to the subject, because you only make yourself look like a buffoon.

@BooRikkaaa101 i never said you dont know anything about mma lol i tried explaing to you what a shot was and how rashad leaped in and pulled back and leaped in with punches and then shot at him but i mean if that is fun to watch for you then dont complain about it and go watch boxing loland when rashad was on top he was punching the shit out of rampage not just doing a jake shields and holding on to him
@Keysi4life
@Keysi4life 14 жыл бұрын
@andyb2389 if you complain about a normal aspect of the game then yes the sport isnt for u lol and no im not pro im still at the amature level thank you and yeah rashad said he was going to ko ramapge but so did rampage lol so neither was right and do you understand the concept of shooting or setting up a shot. Rashad came in with a flurry then shot in and got it. and when he didnt rampage stopped the shot and they ended up a clinch lol and which won of ur last few words made you 12
@Keysi4life
@Keysi4life 14 жыл бұрын
@BooRikkaaa101 what fight were u watching rashad was the one chasing rampage for the most part lol he was the one hitting him then shooting in. Rampage stopped the shots and then the clinched happened. cuz rampage stopped the shot. I hope to god you know what a shot is lol and if you dont like the idea of clinching or shooting then go back to boxing. this isnt the sport for you :)

@Frogger0neXx U dnt like lay n pray fights.Watch street fights on youtube where they dnt lay n pray.his is ufc where skilled fighters fight.Like i said u wanna watch fights where ppl compe out with flying fists all over the place.search for some street fights. Reshad did well.I actually thought rampage would win.I thought Rampage's conditioning would be better,and strength would prove to be too much for Reshad.It appeared to as if Reshad was stronger,faster,and had alot more stamina.

@elheadkickio " I hope not all matches are like this" is a figure of speech. I do how ever hope there would be less fight like this. Is that clear enough for you? Just in case you couldn't understand the meaning of my comment. The fight that Rashad pulled was Wack, it was boring. He played it safe and didn't live up to what he hyped it up to be. Lets say if MMA turn to all lay and pray, or putting people up against the cage for three rounds, then i would gladly switch to boxing.

@kungfujellybean I did do research, This is based off Nevada State Athletic Commission pay offs, and includes bonuses, Also that dosn't Include taxes so you can - half. The point is UFC is as established as boxing if not more so. I know I don't make more than Rashad or Rampage, but I make more than the poor Joe Brammer who took home 5,000. I guess it only pays to win,
@magician234

@kane00754 Are you a fuckin idiot. MMA started way before boxing existed in the form of "Pankration" in Greece. They fought standing and on the ground with submissions as well. That was MMA, and was the first form of fighting every created..then came boxing, wrestling, Jujitsu, etc. Also, UFC started 93..get your facts straight.

@elheadkickio Again your failing to understand my comment. Are you that dumb or are you just playing stupid? I said "Lets Say" If MMA is all lay and pray. Not MMA is gonna be all lay and pray. To put this simply to you again, What my comment is pointing towards is these kind of fights are boring and definitely not worth paying for.

Rashad always he would go back to basics and utilise his wrestling, i guess thats what he did. The UFC is slowing becoming the "LAPC" Lay and Prey Championship, with less and less fighters willing to take risks. Does anyone know how much Rampage has tpo cut? He looked lean as hell here!

@Frogger0neXx You hope not all matches are like this? Have you never watched MMA before? #1 all fights are different, some end in 8 seconds, some go 25 minutes. #2 if you can't appreciate anything but two people flailing until one gets knocked down, find another sport to watch, this one isn't for you.
