I'm convinced. I thought Cory had the near perfect style (the movement, the angles, the height, the reach, the creative striking, the submission game) to beat Yan. I thought Yan was going to have a hard time pressing Cory against the cage or closing the gap but he proved me wrong everywhere. As an out-boxer like Cory, I can confirm that Yan is our absolute worst nightmare. Cory has mad skills and athleticism, but Yan is just terrifying. Fighting against a taller opponent with longer reach is immensely difficult, being able to outclass and land those clean shots are just out of this world. DC understood how crazy this fight was. I have PTSD from this fight.
