I think most people favoured Sean in this fight. The question is how he does against someone that can grapple like Merab. Sean handpicked Chito because he knew he could beat him, even though there are at least 3 guys in the division more deserving of a shot.

Also he picked him because he wanted to prove it was a fluke loss and because it was the biggest money fight in the division. Vera was getting more cheers than Sean. Merab doesn't have a fanbase. He's not going to bring a single penny to the PPV. As a matter of fact, people hate his style so much they probably won't buy the PPV because of his name.

Chito just seems like he fell off slightly and then plateaud the last cpl of years but Sean looks like he has gotten just a little bit better each fight since fighting Chito. Although Merab should be next that Topuria fight would be lit.
