It was disgusting honestly, should have never had the chance. If he didn’t sit on his hands and knees to avoid the knees in the 3rd his brain would’ve ended up into mush. He got a rest and some advice from his team and switched the position, terribly referring and terrible rules. If you can knee an opponent going for a takedown you should be able to knee them on all 4s going for a takedown

If you actually watched the fight you’d know Elliot had position and was kneeing him hard and mokaev flopped putting hands on the mat and so ref stopped position and then realized he messed up and put them back. By Then mokaev had already rested and gotten advice from his corner, bad ref and bad rules
