I prefer a 25 minute masterclass over a 13sec KO all day. It’s sensational if it happens but damn… Don’t you hate it when you’re looking forward to a specific matchup for weeks or months and it ends before it is even a fight. I would’ve loved to know how Aldo vs McGregor turned out if they went at it. That being said, I think it has a lot to do with the style of Izzy’s opponents. Are they willing to exchange? How fast are they discouraged by him? I think Adesanya is going to respond to your comment with an exclamation mark by a left question mark within 2 rounds

There are some fighters, like Gane, that i absolutely love even tho they go to decisions, because they at least are content with that and is part of their expectations: for example Ciryl does say before fights that if it goes to decision is fine and even after the Volkov fight, while many were saying it was boring, he was happy by how it went. Izzy always talks big but then goes too safely for a decision. It's not the decision itself: i can respect a smart approach, it's the false promises. But with Adedanya it doesn't bother me too much honestly, unlike with Sean Strickland: that guy talks about murder and then jabs while going backwards for 25 minutes while saying to his opponent to stay in the middle.... absolute clown😂

This how the night will go: Pereira wins his fight with a devastating KO, then Izzy wins his by UD. After Buffer announces the victor, Izzy turns towards Dana White because the belt wasn't wrapped around him and in that moment Dana ripps his own face away reveiling the face was just a mask of Dana White while the real person wearing it was actually ALEX PEREIRA!! With the belt in his hands, Alex immediatly goes to strike Adedanya on the head WWE style and then stomps on his back while the latter is grounded and holding his head in pain, all in a small fraction of time while the crowd is still gasping because of the face reveal. Pereira then proceeds to walk backwards away from the cage holding the belt and smiling menacingly, all while a Randy Orton music is playing in the background. The real Dana White is later found tied up in the backstage and as soon as he finds out about the stunt o Pereira, he's not even mad: his mind just goes: *"PAY PER VIEWS" and then starts dancing to the music in his head.*

He is one of the most impressive UFC champions we've ever seen, and it's been a long time since he's been tested. I normally keep the fighter I want to win to myself, but not this time. I want Israel to win this fight. But Jared Cannonier is a legitimate contender, and this is an incredibly exciting fight on an absolutely stacked card. If Adesanya can put him away in convincing, or even dominant fashion, he cements his legacy for all time. If Cannonier can find a way to put Israel away, he'll put his own name in the history books, and he'll have defeated a truly one-of-a-kind opponent.

Should be a clear win for Izzy on paper, a flat footed striker like Cannonier is Izzys bread and butter to style on. Cannonier does have some intangibles that make him one of those guys who can never be counted out and is always capable of pulling off a win against pretty much anyone. As a challenge he falls somewhere between Romero and Costa and because both Whitaker and Brunson dropped him Izzy should do so with greater ease.
