I emailed Frankie one time and told him what big fans of his my son and I are and told him how we could never catch him at a fan expo. I told him my son’s birthday was coming up and how much he wanted his autograph. He emailed me back in under five minutes asking for my address. He even paid to mail it and the best part was it arrived on my son’s birthday. Such an amazing human being man! 😢🐐

Frankie Edgar already earned his legendary status when he survived the brutal assault Gray Maynard brought upon him in their 2nd fight when the UFC Lightweight Championship was on the line which resulted in a draw, leading to a 3rd fight between them where Edgar finally defeated Maynard in the 4th round via TKO. Those 2 title fights are truly one of my favorite fights in UFC history. Congratulations! 🙏

Frankie Edgar is who legit got me into UFC/MMA. I remember sneaking and watching his 2nd fight with Gray Maynard in school during classes on my little iPod. I’m happy to see he’s getting honored as I always thought he should be. He was the small kids guy. As someone who was always undersized compared to my peers, it gave me so much happiness seeing him smash guys who were way bigger and more athletic than he was.

I got into ufc in 2012. It was when Edgar was having his two fights with Ben Henderson. I was rooting for Frankie and I remember watching his highlights when he was champion and he became one of my favorites. I’ve watched all his fights from 2012 to his last. Thank you Frankie!

Frankie Edgar seldom took the easy route to victory upon his fighting style. He would often time study tapes of his personal fighting style to look at tidbits of stuff to see fighting videos and styles. He often work ride bikes to earn style points and stamina and stuff. My friends all liked the way his style of fighting looked when he was fighting during the fight.

FE true legend & ultimate warrior. Thought it was a fluke the 1st time he beat BJ then I realized after their rematch he was the real deal. This man may have been one of the smallest fighters to step in the octagon but he had a bigger heart than most heavyweights. Easily one of the best fighters ever. You can tell someone is a great fighter when they fight people bigger, longer reaches, more weight, and this is basically Frankie did his whole career . Jon Jones has longer limbs than everyone and does well, mcgregor has the reach of someone 6’2 while fighting short dudes, all these fighters squeeze down to frankies weight like Holloway despite being tall and are super skinny bc they can’t hang with people their own size. This is why Cormier is also awesome bc he was typically smaller than a lot of heavyweights and same with Mike Tyson . Frankie is a legendary fighter

Frankie & Maynard fights legendary! Took a power shot from Maynards’s right hand that shattered Frankie’s nose and made him do a backwards somersault essentially, and he still popped up nose bleeding everywhere came back at Maynard full steam and knocked ass down. Dude was a dog.!!!
