I just don't think many people know the names of 10 boxers without naming off the greats. This might be true about knowing 10 mma fighters but the trend def going in that direction. It's not to hate on boxing. as a skill its cool to watch but I'm not paying for a ppv. I'll watch on fightpass like I would a grappling match.
