UFC at the time didn’t have a 145 division. the division was the exact same when they merged. so don’t make any excuses that they’re not UFC champions. It literally doesn’t matter. since if they would’ve merged into 1 sooner. Faber and Brown would’ve been UFC champions.

This man is truly one of the best fighters of any generation. The ability that he has to avoid punches with head movement wilhe also being able to check kicks is something otherworldly, and to think that the guy has been doing this since the WEC days with only improvements being made to his game. When compared to all the goats, none of them is so defensive good as Aldo. While Anderson had the head movement, he didn't check kicks as frequently. Jones on the other hand, by just extending his arms, would make most guys miss, but he would still get hit by fighters his size. With Aldo, if you were willing to let it flow in a techinical way, without pressuring him, very few people would've been able to match him, and even fewer could've beaten him.

Aldo started a 6 knockout win streak in WEC when Khabib was fighting plumbers in Russia. Never said the guy is the GOAT, i said he was the best at defense. Also, he has 10 more fights than Khabib. Take away the 16 bricklayers that the Eagle faced as his first opponents ant put there guys who were at the top of the division, like Aldo been doing since the beggining of the featherweight. Let's see if he is capable of keeping that record, then.
