KZ Underrated only among casual fans and new gen. He did sacrifice longevity of his career by always trying to finish all of his fights, but because of that he earned many hardcore fans too.

"Coolest grappling of all time" it's an insult to a lot of MMA fights, let's not even mention Wrestling, JJ, BJJ, and even Judo fights. Considering the guy was talking just about the UFC, he is completely ignoring guys like Maia, Fitch, Lauzon, etc. Take a recent example: Tsarukian vs Gamrot. That one was a grappling chess match with some amazing moves from both guys.

the second round is the finest second round I've ever seen. Elbows from the mount and the triangle choke, sweep into mount off a double-leg, Poirier gaining side control only to be put back in the zombie's guard. Awesome fight.

@@kylebank8818 it is debatable. Because KZ dislocated his shoulder real bad against Aldo, and in his recovery he went to the mandatroy Korean army duty, and he didnt fight for like 2 years during his prime. When he came back, he was still decently elite, but didnt have the young blaze in him.

@@lukascho6297 not really it’s excuse korean people know kz never actually went to military because of his shoulder he was exempt so he did public service where he can go home after 4pm so he was able to do all the training and recovery in a way it benefited him but he still wasn’t good enough it’s not because military if he didn’t take break for 4 yrs he would’ve been slaughtered by new prospects but he got rewarded a title shot

Dustin is my guy so watching this fight now and seeing how much his fight game evolved is amazing. Even then u can see he was putting his heart and soul into the fight but he needed alot more training and experience. Within time he became one of the best in the lightweight division to ever do it.
