I remembered in one of Justin Gaethje’s old fights, he got caught in a triangle choke, but he just picked the guy up, and slammed him into the ground, knocking him out. The same thing was going to happen in this fight, except Khabib was prepared for it and tripped Gaethje by pulling his leg. Bib is unbeatable.

Justin landed some heavy blows but Khabib ate them and that rattled Justin. He went back to his old habits of swinging wild and exhausting himself. I mean he was fighting a great fight but what are you supposed to do when Khabib is walking you down landing some good shots and can shoot at will. Khabib's chin and standup was underrated so i'm glad people got to witness this fight. Khabib's an awkward in his standup up game but it works just fine for him. I'm going to miss the guy. Truly a legend and GOAT

@Christian Ruiz I agree but don't forget his intense forward pressure as well. If Khabib's striking was terrible then all Justin needed to do was stay low and keep away from the fence. Khabib's striking is underrated. He is a double threat, he has both striking and wrestling/grappling. Obviously his ground game is as lot better than his standup but it sure helps to rattle your opponent when you're taking their best shot and returning back with some of your own, along with that takedown threat

Khabib demonstrated the beauty of mma in his last fight, inspite of his mental stress, pressure and fracture. The way he demonstrated each move was something on a different level. From the start to finish his confidence as a champion was incredible. He never gave his opponent even a slight chance to rcognize his injury. I've only watched this kinda stuff in anime.
