Hall and Mitchell are nobodies. Beating Volkanovski and Holloway was impressive. Finishing both of them was impressive. Volkanovski and Max have more skills and better chin, but Ilia has the speed and power advantage. The foot speed to reach opponents is not even mentioned, but that's equally impressive. Foot speed is what made Pacquiao a dynamic striker against taller and longer reaching opponents. Ilia doesn't have a chin that matches the speed and power though.

I've been away from MMA for a little bit, so I didn't know who Topuria was. I didn't see the Volk fight, so coming into this, I was just tuning in for Max. This man is incredible. I had no idea a guy like this was around at 145. I think Max's best weight nowadays is 155, but that doesn't take away anything from how impressive Ilia looked. His speed and power, the boxing, the leg kicks, the footwork, all world class. And beating 2 all time great 145ers in a row... This might be the best current UFC fighter out there.

Pretty silly that the UFC didn't put the BMF belt on the line. Shows that they want to use it to boost some otherwise lame ppv event in the future.
