Just moved to Vegas and bought a KLR, would love it if you could show me around sometime!

Congrats on your KLR! I'm a little east of you in Utah but do quite a bit of riding in Nevada. Welcome to the area. I'm also a Carolina fella, originally South Carolina and moved out here from South Florida in 2003. Anyway, you can DM me on FB or IG. Stay safe out there!

Ah, the beauty of the KLR. The perfect go anywhere, do anything, for as long as you want, trouble-free bike out there. Will trade my V-Strom 1050 for one asap. Your video just solidified that decision. subbed

Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! Love my KLR, plan on keeping it for a long time. Got some trips planned for it coming up in the very near future!

Loved the video. I ride that country all the time. We spend the winters in Mesquite. Know the loop you took well. If you took the Carp El Gin rode to the west you would end up in Caliente. Good place to get a burger and gas and come back to Mesquite. I also ride a Klr650.

Appreciate you watching! I'll have to give that ride to Caliente a go, been wanting to head that way to do some exploring!

You’re not worried about flats (thorns/needles) riding off trail? I’m a life long MTB’r who has had a good hundred flats over the decades, not looking forward to dealing with flats when I start exploring Mojave desert on my new KLR650. Great videos, thanks for documenting and sharing your rides!

I'm always worried about flats, carry what I need to fix it and hope to avoid it. Man, I'm looking forward to getting into the Mojave as well! Safe travels out there and thanks for watching!

So you own the KLR the xt250 and the Honda 300? Is that accurate, & do you have any other bikes? It would be interesting to watch a video on why you have the bikes you have, any plans for them & any other bikes you might like to add thank you for your high quality videos! I have a 1987 Honda 250 QuadTrax (in "good" to "excellent" condition) I want to add a 2nd quad (a Yamaha 200cc Blaster) cuz quads are fun to do with another person, sure they can follow you on a dirt bike, but to both be on quads, I don't know, I just like the idea of that.

which one do you like more, the KLR or DR650?
@precipiceofgrind10 ай бұрын
Ah man, tough. It really depends since the two bikes are quite different. I guess over the whole I would have to go with the DR650 (personally) simply because it suits my riding style (currently) more than the KLR.
