What i love about that heatsink is the screws. They used the same clamp in the O.G. 360 and it would warp and over heat so the diy solution was washer and screw kit lol. I feel validated for using the diy method back then now. Theres a few youtubers that have judged me for it. Lol This video has mad me feel more comfortable now to dive into a X One thx.

Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your situation, just open and clean and use a good quality thermal paste like: thermal grizzly kryonaut: amzn.to/3Qs7ufv no need for washers on any of the xbox one series, that washer was for the xbox 360 only because of horrible heatsink that they had and a bad fan system and bad fan curve. here only repaste with good quality paste and you set to go. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. Maybe blow the dust on the heatsink as well
@uFixTek11 ай бұрын
yes you can take the entire heatsink out remove the fan and even wash it with soup and leave it to dry🫠 just blowing air is fine, in my humble opinion.

@manicbanana Жыл бұрын
ah they are caps on top of the cpu yeah i broke one of those off
@uFixTek Жыл бұрын
much appreciate the support, you need to get an CPU or board from ebay dead board and you will need a heatgun and flux to be able to replace the Caps, i recommend you to take to repair shop and tell them how much they charge to replace the caps it should not cost more than 20usd. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻

@@uFixTek Thank you very much , I want to ask you about the power supply of the x-box , which I changed a capacitor in but I did not found the same capacitor so,I put a capacitor that has the same voltage but a big capacitance then I plugged the power supply to the x-box and it run all good but after a minute the device shout down ! Does that capacitor is the reason ??
@uFixTek Жыл бұрын
i would need to see a picture of the capacitor old one and the new one and the inside of the charger, but its not because you place a bigger capacitance (depending how big), i have made few videos on those, kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWK1o6eplryarpo kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2mai4d4h9dprM0 note, Microsoft always changes the inside of the chargers all the time so yours my always be different.
