It's actually quite crazy how UFL is for it's first release. It's only going to get better. I just hope they remove the slight bit of EA jam they've put into this game. They're rebounds in this game too efootball is the one where rebounds seem to happen the least. Yet they're in all the games. Why? Rebounds were nowhere near as bad pre Frostbite FIFA

It’s more of a grind on ufl. Some players are cheap beasts such as f.mendy and f.balogun as they are decently rated, have room to improve and most importantly have a good 5* weak foot.

So far I’ve played three games: one 6-0 win vs a player who also played 0 games. From there I got promoted to silver 3. Then I got my first loss 6-2 against a player who had already played 500 games. My third game was a 2-2 draw against a player who’d played just 20 games (silly mistakes, don’t wanna dwell on it) It’s a good game with so much potential. Having FIFA experience definitely helps though as a lot of the gameplay is similar without all the scripting.

In EA FC you use through pasz as a normal pass, here it's really long ball to get attacker on 1v1

It plays very similar to eFootball on the phone, which I do enjoy, but it's obviously a bit too far behind for 2024 gaming lol Still prefer it over the ice-skating or 90 meter finesse shots in eafc

Buy 61-65 overalls with good skills and ratings depending on position, the game is all about grinding. The 61-65s will be 70+s in like 20 games. No need to spend money on this game.

First of all GREAT video, I'm glad to see people giving this game a shot... Secondly, this is not an insult on your, it's just like a thing I noticed recently. It's very sad to see what efootball and Fifa have done to the LOGIC of their players by simply this line: "He has 8W and 10L, and he still has a tragic team" ... The fact that we are so used to get free stuff and SUPER fast progression in these games is just sad, meanwhile the amount of games that man played was less then half a season in a career mode and his players jumped from 55+ rated, to 65-72 rated... That's actually pretty fast progress. Again this is not a DIG on your or us as players, it's a dig on EA and Konami, at how shit the online progression for those games is... Especially Konami, you get a free 99 rated Messi every 2 weeks, it's stupid.

How to put this, FC is unplayable, and EFootball... lets not talk about it, UFL gameplay wise is still rugged, but it just came out so it can be better, and unlike FC, they do take care of improving gameplay as quickly as possible, example 2 days ago they just did a patch improving goal keepers, and the game just came out last week, thats pretty quick

The problem with new footy games is it has to be better than FC straight away, because I've barely got time to play one footy game, so how am i finding the the time to play a lesser game!?! That's the reason EA has the monopoly of footy games at the moment, it's not that it's insane it's just better than it competitors. For that reason FC gets my very limited gaming time.

This isn't a challenger for EAFC, it might be a challenger for EAFC Ultimate Team though. Basically, if you don't play Ultimate Team and/or you don't play online, then UFL is irrelevant.

Go to the game pass and unlock all the free skins and boosts you can This game is an absolute grind and getting double xp and double CP with boosted RP is necessary The only way to unlock pages of the game pass is by doing daily/weekly challenges and if you don't buy the game pass you can claim 3 FREE items from each page and PAGE 10 is a FREE player Don't apply skins until you have at least 3 of the same one (as it does nothing) The skins give different attribute stats to att, mid and defence 3 skins gives you 1 attributesl boost 5 skins give you 2 attribute stats And if you have the same series skin on 7 players it will unlock 3 attribute stats

I think the biggest issue is the stated "skill gap" doesn't exist really. There's huge AI support with defending, the meta is 1 depth drop back and control a CDM still. Then win the ball back with an AI defender, launch it upfield, give and go with a faster striker and knock it over the top.

I bet the devs never thought anyone would play 1 dept and drop back… i play for fun and love it, i try to play the game as i want football played in real life and honestly do not care which division I’m in and so forth. UFL is just not a good game, but it might be one day. For now, the passing is random at best, while the shooting is barely random at best. There are loads of visual glitches in the game, players teleporting back and forth on every pass and shot. There are SO many similarities with FC/FIFA that I think the phrase "How did EA do it? just do that" comes up a lot in any development meeting for this. There is already the option to pay to win in this. The menu is meh, players have already figured out how to defend corners by running around with the GK.
