Bro has completely forgot about Miitopia and Steamworld Heist in the RPG discussion lol. All seriousness, Pokemon is definitely way on the slower end of RPGs. A lot of the encounters aren't really engaging because the game is generally pretty easy. I think you'd enjoy some of the classics like Dragon Quest if you gave them a try.
