Hello planet coaster enjoyers, we're back with another episode of Steve Town and this week I'm joined by the legendary SPRidley to look at a janky Area 51 themed dark ride we've been working on. OMG, this dark ride is so dumb in the absolute best way. You and SP killed it, hahaha. It's perfectly jank and the length is just spot on. Another fantastic episode to my favorite current project atm!

lol that dark ride is magnificently horrendous. Nailed it. Love the general cohesion created by the different designs throughout this area. Checks all of the right boxes to feel like a real place

Ha ha I love the dark ride so much. People always want to create the Disney level dark rides but the "we just threw this thing together" is fun in its own right.

Awwwwwwwww..It's just like home. 👽I always hated it though, when the cattle would disappear for a day or two and them come back with glitter on them...Great job again !

I remember suggesting the jank low budget dark ride in episode two and the execution is incredible! Think I referenced Blackpool in the comment but the “monster house” at Energylandia was what I was thinking also and wow the jank was nailed perfectly! Amazing work you two!

As much as I’m a coaster guy myself, you can’t have a park without an iconic dark ride… and this has been nailed. As you say, it’d always be a walk on but it’d be a cult classic

Okay, I was finally able to watch the video in its entirety. Bravo! This dark ride is the epitome of jank, but in all the best ways. I truly love everything you’ve been able to accomplish with Steve Town, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

With the whole community alive again someone needs to revive Commando Santa. Jubilee Gardens beeing abandoned is a crime. I cant belive how on point all the Sound effects are. Are all of those ingame or did you include some in edit?

@@TheNicloHD all the sfx for the dark ride is custom done outside of the game, then playing as one long track loaded into the ride audio. i hate the in game sequencing tools so much haha
