I have loved UFO for about 45 years. I was always trying to promote them and struggled to understand why people didn't appreciate the quality and talent. They have had some of the best ballads ever but Try Me is still my favourite and one of, if not the, best from any band. So beautiful and haunting. I wish UFO played this song live more often . This is one of the best versions of Try Me, even without Schenker.

Because nobody has good taste in music. Especially the people you are surrounded with in real life. Thought I was the only guy who liked this band for Many many years. Good to know there’s like minded people. From first class rockers to gorgeous ballads I’ve never known either why this band never hit huge. We all know the saying. “It’s their loss, not mine” when it comes to music and certain bands unjustly ignored. They can have their boring Eagles or Fleetwood Mac or whatever that’s been played to death. 💀

UFO has always been the best kept secret in Rock!! They have one of the best back catalogs of their genre over 40 years of kick ass music its funny to me that just because they were not shoved down your throat in commercial radio more people hadn't heard of em. Phil Mogg is not only one of the best vocalists out there he is also a hell of a song writer along with Pete Way,Michael Schenker,Paul Raymond, Andy Parker and the underrated Paul Chapman! Love all the eras of UFO They will always be my #1 band listen to em daily!!

Yes, Paul Raymond was a really decent guy. Passed away in 2019 (around there). Such a talented band that never received the recognition they ought to have. That’s the world, though... Recognizes the trendies and those unworthy. But UFO will be timeless and still heard when Madonna and Justin Bieber are forgotten.

Paul, Thanks and Good Night!
