When Tyler looks into the camera while saying, "You think twice about your life, it probably happens at night, right?" I tear up a lil bit because it's kinda like he knows what we're all feeling when we hear the song and it's like we're not alone.

I always thought that too. Apparently negative thoughts and depressive thoughts are stronger at night due to tiredness and being stressed if you've had a long day. It makes sense in more ways than one, my friend. Which is another thing I love about tøp. They tell you you're not alone, give you extremely meaningful songs and are overall amazing people.
@ellabockhart36667 жыл бұрын
Leo Evan its probably because he goes or has gone through what we go through every night. And he knew that we would feel that way because that's part of what he feels when he hears back the lyrics, to him it's a way to express and share his thoughts, and to us it's a way to escape our thoughts and have someone to relate to and feel like we aren't alone. That's why the clique is so unique to other fandoms, because we all can relate to each other and the band.

In Lane Boy they talk about how you shouldnt trust a song thats flawless. From a musical stand point this version of the song was a wreck. Missed notes, yelling off key, and obviously not planned well. But, when you take a step back and really think about the lyrics "Dont trust a song thats flawless" it really makes sense. Most artists walk on stage and play their song perfectly. And to them that is fine. But to Tyler and Josh, its not. The fact that he did miss those notes, that he did yell off key, and that it wasnt planned well made it a masterpiece. They showed the true side of preforming. That you dont have to be lifeless on stage, but instead to play like you are going through the worst time in your life and play with emotion. This is why Twenty One Pilots is the best band.

Artists, want to play their music perfectly for their fans in concerts. What is put out first is the studio version and that is what people get used to. If you don't have the ability to sing or play what is on a record and play it the same live, it should be done differently on the record. The exception for this band is that they're a duo and that is how they decided to be identified
@BoringTVchannel10 жыл бұрын
Most bands would never do most of the things they do. Other bands wouldn't smash the keys of the keyboard in the middle of their songs or incorporate rap ukulele piano drums screaming and singing into one song or shake while performing. Other bands have this image they try to maintain where they're cool and perfect and everything they do is really clean cut. There's nothing wrong with that but this band just has this element of real ness in their music. They don't want you to think they're cool. I've never connected with music as much as I do when I watch these guys perform. It feels like I know them when I watch them perform. They pour themselves into their music. It's amazing to watch. |-/

Twenty One Pilots just proves that a performance would be worthless if done perfectly, it would sound lifeless and dull. Emotion is what makes a song touch you, and that's exactly what they do: put emotion in each and every performance. If the song is sad, oh he'll look sad alright.

@wheresthebloodywifi64598 жыл бұрын
i dunno, but i got slightly intimidated at how tyler looked at the camera around 1:41. and i kinda know why he did that..? cause around that time/part of the song, the lyrics were: "you think twice about your life, it probably happens at night, right?" i think he was trying to say, or rather, sing to us while connecting with us in a way. cause im pretty sure he knows that most of his fans are depressed, or anything along those lines. so he was trying to, you know, give us this look that says, "i know what you feel, and im here for you" which makes this band, hands off, one of the most bands ever made in the world. though, they deserve more recognition, i think they are now taking a good path to the life they wanted to live. p.s. i have actually listened to twenty one pilots since i was a child. but thinking today, i never really realized that they were twenty one pilots all along, and that i would obsessed with them. so i think this is destiny in a way :)

[Verse 1] I’m taking over my body Back in control, no more “shotty” I bet a lot of me was lost “T”‘s uncrossed and “I”‘s undotted I fought it a lot and it seems a lot Like flesh is all I got Not any more, flesh out the door, SWAT! I must’a forgot, you can’t trust me I’m open a moment and closed when you show it Before you know it I’m lost at sea And now that I write and think about it And the story unfolds You should take my life You should take my soul [Hook] You are surrounding, all my surroundings Sounding down the mountain range Of my left-side brain You are surrounding, all my surroundings Twisting the kaleidoscope Behind both of my eyes And I’ll be holding on to you And I’ll be holding on to you [Verse 2] Remember the moment You know exactly where you’re goin’ Cause the next moment before you know it Time is slowin’ and it’s frozen still And the windowsill looks really nice, right? You think twice about your life It probably happens at night, right? Fight it, take the pain, ignite it Tie a noose around your mind Loose enough to breath fine and tie it To a tree tell it You belong to me, this ain’t a noose This is a leash and I have news for you You must obey me! [Hook] You are surrounding, all my surroundings Sounding down the mountain range Of my left-side brain You are surrounding, all my surroundings Twisting the kaleidoscope Behind both of my eyes [Bridge A] Entertain my faith [x10] [Bridge B] Lean with it, rock with it When we gonna stop with it? Lyrics that mean nothing We were gifted with thought Is it time to move our feet To an introspective beat It ain’t the speakers that bump hearts It’s our hearts that make the beat Lean with it, rock with it When we gonna stop with it? Lyrics that mean nothing We were gifted with thought Is it time to move our feet To an introspective beat It ain’t the speakers that bump hearts It’s our hearts that make the beat Lean with it, rock with it When we gonna stop with it? Lyrics that mean nothing We were gifted with thought Is it time to move our feet To an introspective beat It ain’t the speakers that bump hearts It’s our hearts that make the beat Lean with it, rock with it When we gonna stop with it? Twenty One Pilots is surrounding all my surroundings and it's the most beautiful thing to come into my life. I lost faith in most all people but find new found hope in Tyler and Josh and all my Frens here. - Love

Before I die I just want the chance to pick Tyler Joseph's brain for a few hours. That, fellow clique, would be just beautiful and completely inspiring.

one of my favourite parts of this version of this song is the "entertain my faith"s getting louder and louder and then the screaming, it's like tyler is almost desperate, like he doesn't know what to do and i can relate and it's amazing
