Welcome to the new year's vlog! Haha, I was so excited for no reason and couldn't sleep the night before. So, I can say I was almost awake that night and hence took out Jaanu papa for a walk at 6 am and went to have chai at everyone's old love - Nilofour cafe near Lakdikapool. During our college days, I remember having tea very often. As days passed by, it became too far, and I started liking Lamakaan's tea, which tops every chai house in Hyderabad. My friend Girish told me about this very unique shop called "Paaka Lo poori," so I went there to have some hot pooris. Well, I liked the taste, but I felt it would be too spicy to eat for breakfast. I would rate it 2.5/5. I know no one had asked me actually, but I paid, so I will give a rating also, lol.
So, I headed back home and packed breakfast for my family members as well. I believe all middle-class families' breakfast schedules get changed if it's a festival day, and that's why I chose to eat outside. I packed and walked for a mile and reached home. I was already tired and had a power nap. I asked my mom to wake me up to capture the Ugadi pachadi preparation. Also, do you also believe that it's not just a recipe for a specific festival, but it's also the recipe for life? Agree or not?
I got freshened up because I couldn't stay any longer with that oily hair, and it's the summer season. Had chai, and as always, my dad didn't like it and rated me negatively. In fact, I felt so! Anyway, it happens sometimes, and I took control over the kitchen and prepared my fav "Sambar" by watching @vismaifood ;s recipe. Ah! It was delicious, and everyone loved it and had a tummy full. Lunch done for the day, and I slept again because who wouldn't sleep after eating sambar, lol.
Mom took me out to buy snacks for the evening Pooja, and yeah, it took a while for us to pick from multiple places and came back to attend the panchanga shravanam from our Poojari garu. Post which, I have decided to go out for a walk in BHEL. What a place, man! Had chai, which would be my second most favorite chai spot, and later went for a walk. The breeze was so calm and nice, and I came back to eat my sambar again and started editing the vlog, which you are watching right now! It's a good start, and cheers to many more such great starts in 2024. 🥂
