An Airline is like a road to the country not a money making venture..plus a national pride to a country which is land locked..

To me in the very first place I saw Burundi route as a loss to this airline, better should have been Kigali instead.

Mr. Kasumba, with 16 routes in hand, increasing revenue but without any PROFIT (AMAGOBA) at all but only losses to show for it is not what the Uganda Airlines (UA) should be bragging about, is it? Indeed, I am also asking the same question you are asking as to how the UA is "managing and mitigating losses." Most importantly, are there any lessons learnt or not from the Ethiopian Airlines (EA), which is "the leading, best regarded, most profitable in Africa" and whose "revenue has risen from USD6.1 billion in 2023 to USD7.2 billion this year?" Is the UA planning to compete in Africa against the EA in terms of PROFITABILITY and win or will it be contended with remaining the underdog wallowing in mediocrity for years? I don't think that the Uganda taxpayer should be satisfied with the "2024 performance review" presentation of the Head of Corporate Affairs at the UA until the word PROFIT (AMAGOBA) can be heard from her. As of today, Mrs. Rahim, the UA is simply not making it until that happens. The Uganda taxpayers deserve much better from their company. We are pursuing it relentlessly.

That’s not how it works son 😂😂😂. Worst comment ever. Airline business is not like bus business. You just don’t fly a route because you have a capacity, it’s a bid

@@ykmification cartoon brains think taking others out of business is they best way to do business. I can tell you this, Uganda airlines is not gonna make any money without getting into any alliance and to do so it has meet some standards. Been in this business for over a decade and work for the giants in the industry. Stopping klm, Brussels mean you can’t buy a complete ticket to anywhere other than where Uganda airlines fly to. Let me hope you learning something?

@@GLOBALROVERS Baby mindset! Klm or Brussels can decide to stop route to Uganda at any time ,Uganda government cannot force them to stay like British airways & ur here telling us Uganda has not right to negotiate or stop other airlines. stay at work ! Never try any business
