The Ugandan government has dismissed claims of links with M23 rebels wreaking havoc in the Democratic Republic of Congo's eastern city of Goma. Officials added that they have tirelessly worked to restore peace in the region since 2013. Protesters in Kinshasa yesterday attacked various embassies, including Uganda's, leaving them damaged. They accuse Uganda of being behind the M23 rebel group. John Mulimba, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Cooperation, today tabled a statement in parliament on the ongoing situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo
