Western mentality and capitalism stand on the basis of natural egocentrism/egoism. This essence always turns into narcissism and finally into sadism under some living conditions. Politically and socially it creates forms of fascist hierarchy - higher/upper in hierarchy means more egoism, narcissism and sadism. And actually human kind has always been living in forms of plutocratic fascism, nothing more because of that natural trait of the brain/thinking. De Africa as narrativas do meu pai que lá foi professor primário em Angola seis anos e em Moçambique 28 anos dos quais cinco anos depois da Independência (!!!) já com idade para se reformar. Tinha ensinado a falar a ler e a escrever português a muitos dos quadros da Frelimo. Só veio para Portugal, porque a idade avançada e a saúde não lhe possibilitavam cumprir por mais tempo a missão que o governo de Moçambique lhe tinha destinado. De Africa, quanto a mim, tenho também a malvada experiência da participação compulsiva na guerra em Angola, que mesmo assim me permitiu um contacto e até convivência intensa com povos do interior de Angola. Aprendi muito. O discurso do presidente do Uganda me ensinou mais e surpreendeu-me pela simplicidade e clareza de argumentos. Que pena que a sua exposição esteja limitada pela reduzida divulgação mediática. Que lição para o mundo ocidental. Temos de dar voz a tais politicos, temos de afastar os nevoeiros que ofuscam tanta verdade e realidade. Temos muito que aprender. Good speech. A very well educated man mentioning Olaf Palme and Metternich. As an Austrian I didn't even know what Metternich really was about. I hope this is going to work out for Africa and the rest of the world and I hope that the same mistakes won't be made as were made here in the West when Africa becomes prosperous. And don't put all Westerners in one basket with our ruling elite.
