Uganda - Tech Tree T7 Cruiser | World of Warships

The Uganda is the newest Tech Tree Tier 7 Commonwealth (Canadian) Light Cruiser. It has 9x 152mm guns. This video shows 1 game, played on Trap, where I showcase myself with my thought process on what happens in the match, and give insight on what I think of the ship.

The reason for the removal of the X turret is quite simple. A subgroup of the Fiji class called the Ceylon was made and they dropped that turret to free up weight allowance to reinforce the AAA suite of these ships. Later in WW2 AAA became more and more important and as these were treaty limit cruisers, they just didn't have the space weight capacity for significant upgrades.

As said earlier the turret was removed for more AA but the fiji has a higher AA rating in game

Y turret was removed from many British cruisers later in the war to allow for the installation of additional AA.

I do the basic 2,500 doubloon whale. (More of a porpoise, really, they do put out some reasonably valuable stuff.) This should get me to the Uganda, eventually, which is fine. I already have a lot of good Tier VIII cruisers.

This ship was actually Canadian HMCS, it was just called HMCS Uganda, like Fiji was HMS Fiji, not because it was part of the Fiji Navy. Hahaha

Is the Commonwealth cruiser line good? Is the Uganda good? I'm grinding a few cruiser lines rn, both Brits, Italian, and looking to do Soviets or Commonwealth perhaps. Though it migh be too smimlar light Brits. Idk. Lmk. Ty.
