God I truly get more enjoyment from this that most new films. In fact its the first actual movie I've sat through in a years. What was a little jarring is , yes the low budget, but how genuinely funny it is. The characters add hilarity at the most unexpected times that it really is a good comedy. What is the icing on top is the narrator randomly injecting words or noises in even when it's all got subtitles. For example one time that cracked me up: The soldiers are in a bar drinking a couple minutes while flirting with a couple women. Out of nowhere the narrator makes a slurping sound when one soldier drinks. A sec later this male narrator makes a girlish giggle for the women. Simple stuff like that out of nowhere cracked me up. Truly this is art and I mean that with no sarcasm, it's a funny action-comedy irregardless of any budget shortage.

Edit: IHE's SFTW episode on this movie stated that the budget for Who Killed Captain Alex was $200. I believe that was all spent on just the camera alone.
