Even farmers in the Us use manure for fertilizer. The issue is how expensive is synthetic fertilizers from natural gas or oil vs manure. In the Midwest in the Us there’s big feedlots so there’s manure but not everywhere. The other issue is the issue of central banks and big governments artificially forcing interest rates low for twenty years. That forced home construction and asset prices to big highs. Farm land is expensive. You can’t farm unless if you’re rich and can borrow millions. I think I read in the U.S. if you want an average median income for a job and If you want to ranch you must raise 800 cows a year. It’s like if gold was money and interest rates set by free markets but a banking cartel interest rates would be way higher and assets would be lower priced. This means you wouldn’t need fake fertilizer as much. My point is with farms being expensive farmers in some places need all the help to maximize revenue to afford their land. Places in other countries where the government doesn’t subsidize land and have super low interest rates or the federal reserve owns like 2.7 trillion in mortgages forcing real estate higher other countries can have land that’s more affordable that makes more organic farming more likely to happen. But look at Sri Lanka. The SEF graduate ruling Sri Lanka forced organic farming and it collapsed exports meaning less dollars to buy oil which collapsed the government. So please don’t go all in on organic farming unless if maybe you like revolutions.
