Food is an important component of a society's cultural heritage, identity, and pride. I wish we could drift back to our traditional foods which are locally sourced, affordable, and highly nutritious. I applaud Nandy's kitchen for playing a role in this regard. However, the menu displayed at @11.30 contains spelling errors which would reflect badly on the image of such a posh restaurant. I have picked out the following:- 1. Sweet potaoes 2. Cow leg soap 3. Boilled smoked chicken I hope to drop in for a feast of Ugandan cuisine soonest. Bravo!

I’m a Kenyan and I totally disagree with you. Uganda have the best a variety of food to choose from. We only have ugali pilau nyama choma and boiled meat. While Uganda the have Luwombo gnuts try fish chicken made in different styles. For breakfast in Kenya we have tea and breakfast whilst Uganda they have katogo of different makes.

@injendimwivandamukolwe3094 Respect! OK Uganda 🇺🇬 has more varieties and combinations of ingredients to produce more dishes. Nevertheless, Tanzania 🇹🇿, Burundi 🇧🇮, Congo 🇨🇩, Rwanda 🇷🇼, Sudan 🇸🇩, Zanzibar, and Somalia 🇸🇴 combined all have delicious 😋 foods for all Black ⚫️ East Africans. Which means everybody has a special food that equally compliments all our foods in Uganda 🇺🇬 and Kenya 🇰🇪. The bottom line is that all the foods of East, West, Central, and South Africa 🇿🇦 belongs to The Black ⚫️ Man and Woman of our African Continent... We Are One People! PERIOD.... RESPECT!

Am a kenyan living in nairobi, in fact not far from this joint. Does the food on the menu cater for all regions of uganda because i have been there severally and know that the term "ugandan food" is just extremely general just like the term "kenyan food". I will be the first to very clearly and directly say Kenya doesn't have a singular or unique food, music, dress etc identity owing to our diverse origins. I have learnt from more than 20 years traveling within Africa and the world at large that such generalizations about a country's food can only hold in countries with more or less uniform cultural identity e.g Japanese food.
