Ugandans Abroad Assured Of Return Home With Old Passports.

The Internal Affairs Ministry has assured Ugandans abroad who are holding the soon-to-be phased out machine-readable passports that they should not worry because their current passports are still valid.

The Ugandan embassy in US is only located in Washington DC which requires one to buy an air ticket, accommodation for a night and extra costs like taxis etc. Besides that the embassy staff never pick up the phone at all! Where are people going to get your so called emergency papers?

Why speak ENGLISH??? Do you think all people with passports do know English?? Mwogele oluganda and other local languages. Well if someone needs or owes a passport they need to learn some ka English kubanga they don't speak any local Ugandan language outside Uganda.
