Attendance Present Answer-A. Hunter Commission, first education commission was established by Lord Ripon in 1882., Sadler commission of 1917-19 was set up to inquiry into the condition and prospects of the University of Calcutta., Hartog committee was chaired by sir Philip Joseph Hartog. This committee was formed to examine the development of education in British India., Sargent plan of education recommended the introduction of free and compulsory education for all Indian children in the 6-11years age group.
