Hi Mam, Great class again...!!! If 'No' Statement is false i.e. Universal Negative or 'E' is false then, i) Contrary (E -> A) A is Undeterminable ; Reason - For E.g. if the statement, No flowers are yellow is FALSE then there are 2 chances 1. All flowers are yellow OR 2. Some flowers are not yellow. So we cannot say 'ALL or A' is True or False. ii) Contradictory (E-> I) I is True. (Remember trick - Tony Kakkar songs) In contradictory statements they are always opposite to each other. They can never be True together nor be false together. iii) Sub Alternation (E-> O) O is Undeterminable. (Remember trick - True always flows from top and False always flows from Bottom). Reason - For E.g. if the statement, No flowers are yellow is FALSE then there are 2 chances 1. All flowers are yellow OR 2. Some flowers are not yellow. So we cannot say 'O' is True or False.

No. Ka contrary . dono ek sath false ho skte hai but dono ek sath true' nhi ho skte 2...agr ek true hai to dusra false hoga. 3agr ek falsh hai to dusra undetermined hoga Contradiction.. Agr no.false hai to some true hoga. Agr some true hoga to no. False hoga. Agr all true hai to some not false Sub alternative No falsh hai to some not undisturbed hoga Agr some not falsh hai to no bhi falsh hoga. Great class mam It's my first class on logical reasoning I repeatedly Watch this class then I understand if I am true please mention If 'No' 'E'( -ve ) is false then CONTRARY > Rule >two preposition are contraries they can not be true together but can false together Example (1)All Boys are not went for school (2)Some boys are went for school beacuse it is undetermined QUANTITY me different ho skta hai but subject aur predicate same hota hai Contradictory- Trick (Kata lga) NIETHER they are false together, neither they are true together (kattar dushman) Example -(1)All vehicle are polluted . (1)No vehicle is polluted . Sub alternation (A-I And E -O) > TRICK (Shilpa and shmita ) Shilpa jo bolengi wo shamita ko manna hoga Beacuse True always flows from Top To !Bottom and also False always went to Bottom to Top . Thankyou so much mam..you are the gem❤ Homework question - In the square of opposition, if NO(E) is false, example-- [No boys went to school is false] then :- Contrary (A) will be UNDETERMINED because there may be two chances i.e., 1. All boys went to school is true 2. Some boys went to school is true. So we can't make out exactly. Contradictory (I) will be TRUE because if no boys went to school is false then Some boys went to school will be true as they are contradictory to each other. Subalternation (O) will be UNDETERMINED because if (E) is false then the negativity will not come down it has to go upwards.
