It's absolutely true that it depends on vacancies! If there's no vacancy or less vacancy then competition would rise and there's cut throat competition since a lot of net b.ed pass out are waiting for the opportunities. Conclusion: UGC NET & B.ed is just a degree which makes you eligible to fight for vacancies. You'll still have to face competition!

B.ed is better for getting quick job..as I am a Ph.d, ugc net jrf set in Sociology and it is really hard to get job although after 4 years I was able to get temporary govt job as lecturer and still continuing it as guest faculty in Sociology in m.p.

Not just 9th and 10th, woth an MA and a B.Ed. degree, you may become a teacher of +2 level as well. For this, you have to qualify the PGT recruitment examination conducted by KVS (also NVS, DSSSB, variois state govt PGT examinations are there in option). Then, after clearing the written and interview, as per your merit rank list and vacancy, you may become a teacher of class 9th to 12th (PGT level).

I have done same.. Qualified NET, first year b.ed. completed.. Applied for uppgt, UPHESC, rpsc, mpsc exams. Now waiting for exam date and doing preparation!! Hoping for the best, ready for the worst. After, B.ed will apply for central scools also for pgt!!

NET JRF walo ko 45000 per month fellowship milta hai 5 saal tak or phd karte hi nokri lag jaati hai wo bhi college me higher salary starting 100000 minimum. Bed walo ki halat bhot kharab hai

Dear Ma'am, Please don't mind my words. Because you have incomplete information. Fist thing, I want to tell you that B.Ed and M.Ed are not simple courses like MA, MSc, MCom as well as Diplomas. B.Ed and M.Ed are professional degree or technical courses. It is also teacher training or teacher education program. UGC can not support to pursue any professional courses from distance mode who has internship and practical. So, According to UGC/ NCTE, No body can pursue B.Ed and M.Ed from Distance mode. Second thing is that B.Ed is mandatory for PGT Post almost all the States/UTs except Uttar Pradesh. Even KVS, NVS and DSSSB also required BEd for PGT vacancy. Thank you so much Ma'am ❤❤❤❤

Ed Because my cousins have completed B. Ed but.. Still unemployed.... I want to go for assistant professor... So i want to start preparation for ugc net... But there also many politics... Someone said me that.. There matter many factors.. Not only knowledge.. You have a strong connection with politician.. Or have to give donations to get job..... So i think go for ssc/banking exam... But confused... Please share your opinion
