I commented negatively once, but then I realized it's none of my business, and all I have to do is not watch the video. So you know what, that's what I do. I don't watch these videos because I know they will upset me. For anyone else who doesn't like those videos, that's what your solution is. When my ex and I got married I couldn't keep sweets in the house or buy them fast enough. 🤭 I started putting the cookies, Ho Ho's and Ding Dongs in the freezer. 😂 It only stopped him for a few weeks...He started eating them frozen!!! Then he wondered why he gained 30 lbs. 🤯

But Danielle I have exactly the same problem with my hubby. One day there is something that I want to eat but not right away? The very next day I go to have it? AND…I can not find it ANYWHERE! It could be anything from a special treat or left overs from the restaurant the night before. It used to bug me but now I just go with it. AND my hubby needs to lose weight & probably is headed for diabetes (it runs in his family) at the very least or a heart attack at the most. Do I want these things to happen? Of course not. At the same time, my guy is a grown ass adult. He will do as he pleases, when it comes to eating, etc. We cured the eating of what I may have put aside for myself but I do not fuss about what he eats, how much, or when. Since I stopped that, he has been doing so much better at making sensible choices about what he eats & we aren’t fussing about one another. It’s been 38 years this month that we’ve been together. Closing in on retirement & spending more time with each other. It’s just not worth my time 🕰️ to be “getting after him” about anything any more. I’m not his mom & he’s not my dad. We are so much happier with each other now & the past 10/15 years since we decided to be responsible for ourselves & just be. Hope you have a wonderful day! 😊❤

I know you mean it as a joke, but…) Because of the meds I take I have high sugar levels and I love sugar. Have you tried Atkins’s products for Dan? I find they hit that sweet spot. Or Boost? The low sugar high protein drink. You can add a small scoop of ice cream. Not being a shake or malt lover, it didn’t help me.

Yes, the food is for everyone. But not in a ratio of, out of a box of 12 ice lollies, that one person should consume 10 of the 12 in a single evening. To me, that’s a little greedy and unfair on the rest of the family. As well I support Danielle in questioning this. I realise that Dan doesn’t like to be told what and what not to eat, but be fair to everyone Dan. This comes from a nurse of 40 years. In my experience anyone who has suffered a myocardial infarction, as Dan has, must remember that his eating habits will contribute greatly to the length of time before he suffers another. If he looks after himself well it may be years. But remember that a heart attack is always just a pre cursor to another at a later date. How long before that happens is just a matter of time. It’s up to you Dan.
