UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER COOKIES ~How to decorate ugly sweater cookies w/Eddie, The Edible Ink Printer

Ever wanted to make the classic ugly Christmas sweater cookie set but just the idea of all of the colors and consistencies and designs makes your head spin? Me too.
But thankfully I found Eddie, the Edible Ink Printer! Seriously y’all @eddie_edibleinkprinter is a game changer. #ad
All you have to do is flood the cookie with white. Let that dry overnight. Print your image with Eddie. Then throw on some piping for the collar and cuffs and there you have it! As many designs as you can possibly imagine with ONLY WHITE ICING 🤯

My general tips for working with the Eddie:
- You CANNOT use my signature lemon royal icing recipe (the edible ink does not work well with the acidity)
- Highly recommend doing the training provided by Primera when you get the printer and joining the Facebook group for users: groups/eddieprinter
- Dry time: I let my flood dry for 24 hours, however others have had luck with less dry time. Very much depends on your icing recipe.
- Every new print requires trial and error to figure out placement, color matching and saturation level based on the image (I made a few extra cookies AND I iced a few cellophane bags to practice on--you can also do a test print for placement on the tray)
- Add white food coloring to your white icing (somehow this makes the image brighter!)

Love it! I got my Eddie in August and love it for quick backgrounds! No more airbrushing for me! I also love to use it to print the outline for larger images instead of using my projector.

That is simply amazing. I use an edible printer at work - though it's not anything like that (I am a grocery store cake decorator). I'm used to working with edible sheets, but to see you just have a dry cookie in there was very interesting.
