Sometimes you have to win ugly. Worried that we really still lack any kind of direction on the pitch. However, when Walsh came on, our passing improved tenfold. There was a spell when Hashi, Walsh, Baptise and Krauss strung some passes together to keep the pressure on the Hull goal and it was criminal how Morris failed to get on the end of any of those crosses. Which brings me on to set pieces - again, some excellent delivery into the danger zone and McGuiness unlucky not to grab a second, but our front 2 really need to have a serious think about their positioning - not even getting close to the ball or allowing the keeper a free claim is shocking. Lucky luck was smiling down today but frankly, I see little to no improvement going forward

so good to finally get 3 points even though the performance wasn't the best and some players looked off. going to have a tough run of games coming and hopefully this win and be a positive for us

Hi Lewis a good video. I think the conditions did not promote a very good game so to battle the weather and Hull was a good result all in all. Our attackers seem to have lost all interest and it was down to a defender to score with his feet albeit as a lucky result from a Hull defender flick on. Morris and Elijah were both poor today (maybe cos of the weather) the ref was very poor too. No idea what Chung was doing, I would rest him as he made very little contribution to the game again. That ref was never going to give him a foul. I can't remember a single run into their half apart from the one in the second half where he should have shot. I think a 1-0 result was a good result for us. Hull deserved maybe a point as their number 2 and number 4 ran the whole game. I can see Luton maybe sneaking a 1-0 at Leeds who are underperforming again this year.

it was not an impressive display, our last two wins were against teams that were predicted to be in a relegation fight and we did not dominate. we've only dominated in one game so far and thankfully that was against watford. just look at who we've lost from last season, kabore, lokonga, barkley, ogbene, osho, long term injured, lockyer anderson and part time burke. and the replacement recruitment has not been up to that quality. the defence is still too easy to open up and too slow, just as well they couldn't shoot.

You're not being harsh... We created little and clung on at home against a team at the bottom of the table with us who always seemed to have time and space.. Positives, 3pts, and strong defensive performances, but so much is wrong. Bell pulling out on top of Alfie injured was massive. Chong didn't know whether to push up or drop back from that lwb role. When we pressed it left massive holes behind him and Mengi didnt want to be dragged out to left side to cover. Plenty to work on.

Agree. Adebayo didn’t look interested and Morris didn’t hold the ball up we had no out ball because of that. Surely the other strikers are worth a game. Baptiste has a great passing game but he’s made of tissue paper.

Phew 3 points ... big sigh of relief 👍Kaminski made a couple of great saves at the end , to make sure we got the win.👍I agree Lewis 100% we have to up our game. if not I have a horrible feeling that the Leeds game might go the same way as the disaster at Middlesbrough... but i am really hoping that is not the case 🤞🤞🤞

As far as I'm aware. Hull has one of the highest stats for possession in the league, so it didn't surprise me today. They just can't score. I have no idea where Chong was playing. I thought he was a wing back, but I'm told we played 4 at the back. If Chong was a wing back, he was out of position far too often and leaving Mengi 1 against 2 too many times. A great save by Kaminski for the deflection, and we scored from a corner put in with pace. Also, we scored from another corner put in with pace from Walsh, but was unfortunately disallowed because the ball went out. Their defender had no time to react and we get the flick on. Watch Deggy's video. He mentions corners with pace. Are we both wrong? We set up to not concede by playing Krauss and Nakamba. We were never going to be pretty. COYH

100% was not a back 4. Where did I say you’re wrong? I said you was harsh on Doughty massive difference. Doughty’s last game was Cardiff which we scored directly from the corner with pace!

Edwards has some issues with a number of players & will not play him. I can see Taylor leaving in January & I don't blame him. He outed Alan Campbell too, despite being outstanding in our promotion season.
