UGLY LEGO? LURP, BURP, MURP, What Are They?

This was one of my favorite pieces as a kid. I didn't have 50-million small grey bricks to build a rock face, so I was able to make cool stuff with these. Plus they had an "inside hiding place" (Sine I wasn't very good at making overhangs as a kid.

Remember, if you somehow -don't- happen to have thousands of dark grey slope pieces, you can always use some of them, and have some parts of the BURPs exposed.

I love those, I used to get them with the castle and pharaoh sets. I also miss baseplates that mimic castle bases and deserts (raised baseplates).

You should try putting a cave in the rock wall under the ninjago platform. Then hide the cave with the campground

I prefer using LURPs because they aren't so flat as BURPs and I cover the studs with cheese slopes
