It is a traditional Ugandan song, I believe it may originate from the Eastern part of the country. Sanyu Lyange translates as "My Happiness", though I am not sure which of the Ugandan languages it is in.

I read that she's from Toro/Bunyoro people. If she's not singing in her language then this is Luganda. These Ugandan languages sounds similar to us those from outside. I lived in Bunyoro Kitara land and I couldn't tell the difference between western languages: Nyoro, Ankole, Kiga and those in central: Ganda and the likes
