I don't understand either but what I do know is Christ loves me and showed me a ton ton TON of grace and offered me salvation. I accepted His gracious offer. How I got here is not as important as the fact that I am here.

Thank you for your explanation about pruning! I've thought of it as suffering the consequences of or even punishment for - not being good enough. Now I see it as a loving blessing, as painful as it might be, so I can be more free and equipped to live more fully for this wonderful God. Thank you Pastor Tom! And thank You, God!

Thank you so much for this message. I have been discouraged of late. It's hard to go to church when I am told by church members that certain things shouldn't be discussed. Basic things like prophecy, end times, our blessed hope, and doctrinal truth that is "too controversial" to be thought through. Basically, the books of Genesis and Revelation are avoided in teaching or conversation. Maybe this is an attack of the enemy to keep me from going. I get so encouraged and excited by the Word of God, and then when I go around other believers at church and want to share it, I get discouraged and feel shut down.

💜 PRUNE ME LORD! I want to be the best I can be but only for you My Jesus! ✝️ I have a chronological one too Pastor Tom. It is the: " Bible In A Year." Which is the entire Bible put into 365 dated readings. Each day gives an Old T. reading, a New T. reading, a Psalm and a Proverb. It is a great way to get the entire Bible read.

Amen! The fruit of the Spirit (all 9 flavours of it) is in ALL goodness righteous and truth! God deals with us on the basis of truth. Truth in His Word. His Word is true. The LORD instructs us to leave room for His wrath, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay”, declares the LORD. Love your enemies, give them the truth. Hard to do but pays eternally. LORD give us urgency and persevering grace to keep telling it like it is what the word of God says the blood of Jesus has done for us. Amen.

Thank you Tom. To 'walk' is what we Jewish people call HaLakha הלכה According to Biblical Teachings (Torah). Mind you, following His teachings is for OUR benefit, not that we Earn any points with Him, for Yeshua is the way, the truth, the life, and in life, death, and resurrection, we have Life, love, and joy in Him. His teachings (Biblical Torah) are not the rabbinical rules. those are the sayings of men.

It is not God's will any should perish 2nd Peter 3:9 Also the Lord says I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather they turn and be saved Ezekiel 33:11. God who is all knowing, knows who will choose him and be saved. Man has free will to choose, God does not predestine one to be saved, one to be lost.
