@@arielloza1671 that I agree on. I think the problem with the newer ufc games is that they seem more exploitable. Yes actual martial art experience helps and indeed the striking is better. But more often than not, you're dealing with people spamming the clinch or exploiting the unrealistic grappling altogether. This usually results in a annoying fight of getting to the spam quicker than the opponent. This takes the skill out and you are left with people going to older games where they feel like it might be less exploitable. I like ufc 4 when I'm playing someone that has skill, but the clinch mechanic needs some work.

They can't remaster this though because this is a THQ creation which means the rights are owned by them for what they did with the game

Can't the UFC fund a new studio for the reassemble of THQ just to make UFC video games, considering that they were the most successful studio. Then the UFC can benefit from all the profits, I'm sure the sales of "UFC Undisputed 4" would outweigh any UFC game ever made.

Why didn't EA just straight rip off this game's grappling system? Shit like that happens all the time in gaming. They could've just copied it, made it look more modern and "AAA" and then used their striking system. I get why they didn't in the first couple games, because they were trying to make their unique iteration, but after that failed they could've just copied Undisputed 3 and used its good ideas in EA UFC 3 or 4

It's like they're working their way down to the ground game. They improved the striking in ufc 3 than improved the takedowns in ufc 4. Hopefully ufc 5 is gonna have improved ground game.

The first fight with Bisping was amazing to watch. Imagine watching it in PPV and the crowd going nuts for an arm bar submission with two seconds left. You know DW would be handing out fight of the night and performance bonuses. Can't wait to see you get the belt in episode three!

October 19, 2010 EA Sports made their first mma game titled EA Sporta MMA. That game had fun standup. Didn’t like the knockouts though they didn’t have rag doll and the ground game was bad. It’s crazy to think that they’ve been working on mma games since 2010 but still have bad and unrealistic animations in their games. Just like with madden.

I literally bought this game and Fight Night Champion for only 10 bucks in total for the PS3 again just recently because that's how good these games are. Yeah the striking in this Undisputed 3 is a little bit clunky BUT the grappling system and all the other details made this the most alive MMA game to this date. Post-fight interviews with Joe Rogan, play your own training camp, sponsorships, going down or up the weight classes and much more. Yes, UFC 4 has a few things here and there but it's still NOT good enough to hold it's own with Undisputed 3. No matter how good the graphics or the striking is... Undisputed 3 is THE TRUTH when it comes to MMA games. Cannot change my mind!
