In order to make it easier for Brazillians, the 3rd sound in English (in words like sick, sit, it) is very similar to the pronounciation of the sound ê in brazillian portuguese words like êxito, pêssego, você and etc. Not exactly the same sound, but if you think that way, you get pretty close to the correct way to say those words in English.
