I watched the livestream all the way from the Philippines. As a fan, this is really heartbreaking 💔 but still proud of this squad! I'm really hoping that they will receive 1 of the 2 at-large berths into NCAA MVB Championship. #GoBows 🌈🏐

Thanks for the upload as I didn't get to watch the match, but I know what happened. So heartbroken for Hawaii. Never underestimate your opponent, and it seems maybe UH didn't study UCSD as much. Hopefully, Hawaii will still make it to the NCAA Tournament. They really should.

Just finished watching set 1 and it was terribly erratic for The Bows though they snatched this set. Now, I decided to read the comment section and was shocked to know that they lost in this match :( Their body language in set 1 says it all. For any unbeaten team, losing a game is necessary and I hope they would come back from this setback. I believe in them!

Thank you very much mahalo nui loa and on a serious note: it is just sad to see how the Rainbow Warriors lost this game at all five sets to UCSD however on a positive and lighter note: just want to say congratulation to UCSD though; nevertheless: I am keeping my prayers for the Rainbow Warriors Volleyball Team to improve their game; to become stronger and better at the next game hopefully (*Fingers crossed*). Also I felt truthfully sorry for the seniors (*The senior players on Pat, Colton and Rado) a lot. On a good note: Mahalo nui loa for all the hard work you do. 💖💙

I wish thells wasn't so obviously setting rado all the time. This team clearly came in and was trying to stop rado. And thelle did well in getting gasman involved but then he did what joe did in the ncaa finals and had too much faith in rado

I was thinking the same.. I wished they tried fielding in dimitrios in the 4th set, he played very well in the lbsu game and I think he is not that heavily scouted.. Hawaii was just so predictable and overconfident already..

@@chrissaligan4941 spyros couldn’t have come in for rado though as he is OH and rado plays oppo. dimi is (or at least was last season) backup opposite behind rado, and depending how next season shakes up he will probably be starting oppo. if he wasn’t redshirting this season they may have tried to sub him in for a bit. but if they took rado out this game there would be no one who could compare at oppo so we’d be doomed.

This is their worst game of the season. NCAA should still put Hawaii at 1 given their dominance all throughout the tournament. Not to mention, their only loss is a 5-setter. If NCAA doesn’t give 1 slot to Hawaii, they should file a protest!

In this match, Hawaii was too predictable. I saw Cowell, Cowell, Cowell, Rado, Rado, Rado, Galloway hardly used, didn't see any BIC's. The second set Hawaii couldn't serve it in for like 5 straight serves putting them in the hole and playing catch up.

Exactly. Why didnt they use any BICs? Why didnt thelle play aggressive and attack on 2 like he did in earlier games? Why doesnt rado ever tip the ball and instead think he can power the ball through a double or triple block when he's hitting two feet away from the net? etc.

Word of advice to the Bows both the coaches and players: FOCUS. Don't talk to the media and don't go on websites. Go out there to Columbus and PLAY YOUR GAME. This is why you came back from the Covid year of 2020. When the time is right, then comment when all is said and done.

Radio doesn’t have much variety in his game, and I think it got shown here again. He’s always struggled against the best teams because he doesn’t have some of this little nuances that can separate the truly great. That being said, Hawaii need to run a faster offense too, UCSD had way too much time to set up blocks. UCSD earned this win, they played great across the lineup.

@@locomojoboy2 this, I think i have watched him play probably 10-15 hours at this point. Maybe a half dozen tips and no rolls ever. If he wants to be a solid pro at the next level, he has to learn, the blocks and D are only getting better.

Welp, I guess Hawaii didnt want to win because they played like absolute garbage in this game. Blocks were non-existent; thelle was a non-factor because he never attacked the ball; and Rado failed to be the ace that he has been this whole season. The thing about the bows is that you can never feel safe when they're in the lead. They have such a weak mental game that the moment they lose their lead and trail by one point, it's over for them. And once they trail, it is impossible for them to catch up and regain the lead for the win. This was their one chance to make it to nationals and win, and they blew it. They only have themselves to blame. It would have been one thing if they lost to LB or UCSB.....but to lose to San Diego?!?! How embarrassing. Thank you UHVBF for uploading all these games, and for coming back to do so. I know you said you're going to stop once this season is over. It just sucks that it has to end with this sad performance of a Hawaii game.
