Had this project on repeat. And I gotta say this beat in particular has been stuck in my head. I love when they infuse the music with female vocals. And I think there's an aspect to their music that's once again apparent on this album, but overlooked. And that's the 90's influence on their sound. Beyond the obvious Memphis influence. They have always had a lot of sounds from that era in their music. Whether it's samples or horror movie clips spliced in.

Being an addict in recovery myself, $B never appealed to me until I was in treatment and came out. I always thought they were glorifying our disease but that was when I wasn’t ready to hear the brutal truth. Fact of the matter is that all I hear now when I listen is group therapy, NA meetings and complete honesty, open mindedness and willingness to not only be honest with themselves but with us, the listener as well. I hold this song close to my heart, which still beats and has been reopened after 20+ years of being welded shut. $crimmy and Ruby, you’re in my thoughts and prayers, brothers. There’s strength in numbers and our Army of Addicts in recovery and those still rogue in the Wilderness, is mad large; yet we all fight this war within, individually. Love you all, that read this, even y’all that don’t. Peace within the chaos, Nate

As an addict I’m so proud scrim got help and is sober. The outro “just one little line, have this talk with god all the time” is so fucking personal it’s crazy how much you can relate to that feeling with all their songs; they never MISS.
