This video is very clear. However i have 3 issues: i) When I changed the Read Mode to "Infer" I was unable to select the target ii) The "Close Application" activity returned an error as it pointed to the specific file name. Any way to omit title for the "Close Application" activity? iii) The anchor base shows the correct text when I'm creating, but when I run, it returns a different set of text. This is an expected behavior. After the anchor is set, the selector of the activity next to it will be limited to a partial selector in relation to the anchor.

Send HotKey Activity will be useful here. Press ctrl + k by using Send hot keys to open the Insert Hyperlink window Again, make the use of Send HotKey Activity to provide necessary information under Insert Hyperlink window

Hi Good day to you, This is Richard, i am continuously watching your session, just need you expertise for some project that we need to provide with Event Viewer. Step1 Type in the Event Viewer on the search tab, press enter Step 2: Double click Windows logs and click Application. Step 3 is the critical part that i cannot figure out. Client wants me to only get the "Error" without using the Filter logs. they want me to get the data for all Error for "Date and time", "Source" , "Event ID" and the message in "General" automatically save it to Excel file. what function in UI path do i need to use? filtering the log for error will have more or less 2899 datas that need to be extracted. Appreciate your help.

Send hotkey (Ctrl + shift + 5) isn't working and directly jumped to enter, not showing the reading option after that it is showing activity timeout exceeded in find element

Could you please try again by adding a delay under Send Hotkey Activity? For that, move to properties of all Send Hotkey Activity. Provide the value 10000 (i.e. 10 sec) under Common -> DelayAfter and DelayBefore

@@nathanmora9734 First open pdf file, click on properties and check whether tagged pdf is "yes" or "no".... if it is no you have to use OCR engine for extracting data, it cannot be done using find element .... hope this answers you

Store all folder names in Array of String variable and add For each activity to loop through that array. Do the entire project shown in the video under For Each Activity

Thank you so much. Please follow below steps to resolve the issue: Move to Manage Packages -> Search UiPath.Excel.Activities -> Click on Update on the right side of Manage Package window to update the package. If the issue is still not resolved, please add a defacult value as new System.Data.DataTable to the data table variable which you created in the read range activity. Hope this helps!
