Thanks for this great instructional video, madam. I tried to do it yesterday with Joker followed by Parasite but it is not the same. Clicking the Joker is not an issue, however even after omitting the aaname in Joker, the bot is unable to click Parasite. You should try it out to know what I mean.

That dynamic result text, in this case, the movie rating was still appearing at the same spot. Assume the result has moved to some other location on the screen then how do you retrieve the value?

The attributes selected to identify the rating are app, title, parentid and tag. These won't change even if the position of the rating change. So, the bottom line is to take the selector and attributes in such a way that they work even when the positions change.

If the Ui Interaction is static in nature, no need to work on selectors/xpath. If Ui Interaction is dynamic, then you'll have to modify the selectors

Just Amazing ,thanks alot , i have one doubt as you have omited the aaname at 19.40 and have used *imdb in front of title , why * can not be used against the aaname instead of omitting it ?

You're welcome, Title is mandatory in this selector. Otherwise, if more than one web page is open in chrome.exe, you wont get appropriate results. But, since title varies, I used wildcard character *. But, aaname is not as such mandatory, if you add * it might not throw error. But since it holds rating values which will be dynamic in nature, it could be omitted.

Hi Maa'm, In step where you omitted out the aaname from the selector editor, then how the selector will get to know that rating part is supposed to be fetched if its omitted out from its script?

even after using wildcard it is not working for me used the same browser chrome it is selecting some other text whenever we are changing the movie name except rating selecting some other text in get text activity i have tries indicating element also but still same thing

@@hadichloun8328 match it to live element in that selector and use Repair after using repair it took out parent id from the selector and added idx after this it is working for all scenarios even if we are changing the movie name

@@hadichloun8328 i got the resolution you can simply click on indicate anchor in ui explorer and once it is done match the live element it will start working in this case i indicated anchor to the star symbol beside the rating
