I didn't even able to do darshan when I went on December 1st. The poojari who was there he didn't even accept our flower basket as he wanted money. There were so many people pushing everyone and by the time you get a chance to go in front you don't even get 3 second to view the lord

wow things have changed. Im both glad and sad.The last time I went to Mahakal was 2005 at that time the situation was much smaller. We showed up at a slow time and had no line at all, we got to go into the sanctum. The baba who was sitting with Mahakal was very sweet and touched the top of my head like a son and let me touch the base of the lingam with my forehead and sang a bunch of Bajans for us.

Is it possible to attend Deep Lightening at Harsiddhi Mandir and Aarti at Kshipra Ghat in a same day? what is the exact timings of these two events? Hello Prakash ji , thanks a lot for appreciation, both ceremonies happens almost at the same time and rushing to attend both ceremonies will be bit hectic (if with family ). deep lightning happens at 7:15pm and shipra aarti starts around 7pm .do let me know if you have any more query. We went for MAHAKALESHWAR darshan last week and these were the changes we noted.. Garbh greh darshan ticket was priced at rs 250 / person rather than 750rs No compulsion for dress code as you mentioned (like saree for women and dhoti for men) for garbh greh darshan Total time taken for garbh greh darshan after taking the ticket was 3.5 hours ( probably because everyone took 250 rs ticket so it was pretty much crowded)
